In his battles against Marz and Devin, Dragon has often fought from disadvantage but always survived.

Dragon arrives at BWN Video and barely survives his first and very close match in his debut against Marz in the first Mixed Martial Arts Series match Fury. Dragon prepares to enjoy his victory but gets knocked out cold by a steel plate to the back of the head courtesy of his opponent Marz after the match is over. Dragon is left unconscious. Marz becomes Dragon's new enemy.

Dragon goes on to face Marz's friend and newcomer Devin in Sacrifice.

This extra-long bout went 90 minutes and saw Dragon surprised during the match by the unexpected return of Marz, who arrives in the hope of double-teaming Dragon. When Devin gets Dragon in a sleeper, it looks as though the plan worked, with Marz attempting to have Devin force Dragon to kiss his feet. But Dragon fights his way back and into a dominant victory over Devin...ultimately forcing Devin to kiss his feet instead! Marz escapes.

Marz challenges Dragon to a rematch.

At first, Dragon refuses since he sees no reason to fight Marz again and points out that while he is undefeated, Marz has never had a winning match against anyone. So why bother? Dragon tells Marz to do something to impress him first. Marz sneak attacks Dragon in the middle of the night, kidnaps him, chains him to a post, and beats on him, leaving him laid out on the dirt in the rain. Dragon still refuses.

Frustrated, Marz tries to impress Dragon by attacking one of the most dominant wrestlers on the active roster: the as-yet undefeated Onyxx (Onyxx, Thunder and Marz: Feuding Across Four Series), causing Onyxx his first loss as a result.

Disgusted at his interference in other wrestler's matches, Dragon finally agrees to face Marz in their Last Dragon vs. Marz rematch set in a warehouse that Marz chose to make fun of Dragon for thinking he's a martial arts expert (calling Dragon "Bruce Leroy").

After an exhaustive back and forth and several injuries, Dragon destroys Marz and ends their feud as the battered, bruised victor.
